From May 16 to 18, the 20th Strait Travel Fair and the 10th China (Xiamen) International Leisure Tourism Expo 2025 (hereinafter collectively referred to as the “Travel Fair”) were held in Xiamen. The Fair covered a total area of 50,000 square meters, attracted over 80,000 visitors, and generated a total transaction volume of 210 million yuan.

Taking the opportunity of the 20th Strait Travel Fair and the 10th Leisure Tourism Expo, the event provides a platform for industry exchange and sharing, featuring high-level, in-depth, and wide-ranging discussions. Over 30 provinces and cities across China, including Taiwan (with Quemoy), Macau, as well as countries like Thailand and Malaysia, participated in the event, offering visitors a vibrant cultural tourism experience filled with technology, local flair, and a rich cultural atmosphere. During the exhibition, a series of events were also held, including the 2025 Xiamen Culture and Tourism Promotion Conference, the 2025 China (Xiamen) Culture and Tourism Promotion, One-on-One Communication Meeting for Buyers and Sellers of Travel Products, the 2025 Minnan-Southwest Tourist Festival, the first Tourism Expo Junior Reporter Festival, and the 10th Xiamen Senior Tourism Festival. By combining "exhibitions, conferences, and festivals", these diverse activities are injecting new momentum into Xiamen’s efforts to become a "world-class tourism and leisure city", while building an open, shared, and mutually beneficial platform.
